VSCode - The best text editor around

VSCode is the best editor around, here are 10 reasons why!

VSCode is a editor many people love using, but lots of other people still stand by Sublime, VIM, or EMACS for their own reasons. This article is an attempt to showcase why VSCode is better then any of the other editors you could ever use.

1. The best extension system for any code editor.

VSCode has extensions built in, which is more then can be said for some other editors. Not only does it have extension support, but you can view the details of thees extensions inside the editor, without a need to open a browser.

2. Integration with other editors

People like to use VIM because of the need to never touch the mouse. Nowadays, VSCode can simulate VIM or Emacs right inside VSCode.

3. Just the right amount of features

Some editors overload you with features. VSCode doesn't have 200 useless feature you will never use.

4. Supported by Microsoft

Being supported by Microsoft might seem like a bad thing, but it's really a good thing. Because VSCode is used to make VSCode, it's guaranteed that improvement will always be happening.

5. Open Source

This means the community can fix any issues if Microsoft ever dies. Most other editors are open source as well, so it's mainly just a bonus.
